The PD 4000 modules are charged before they are tested. PROCES-DATA guaranties a period of three months from the day of production, during which the built-in buffer battery is capable of having a sufficient voltage level to retain the data stored in RAM.

For how long time the modules are at stock at PROCES-DATA, will depend on the number of produced units versus the number of sold units, and can therefore vary quite a lot.

The PD 4000 modules are not being charged prior to delivery from PROCES-DATA.

This means that, in order not to lose any data stored in RAM, it is advisable that the modules are being charged by the customer for at least 24 hours before use, especially if it is known that application will take place at a much later date.
